About the Neighborhood

Walk through any of Beechwood's beautiful houses, and you're likely to find leaded windows, gumwood trim, pocket doors, and stained glass dating back to the 1920's when this neighborhood was built. At the heart of the Beechwood neighborhood is Swan Market, a historic German meat market and deli, which has German beers on tap and just about every "wurst" you have or haven't heard of. The Beechwood neighborhood is bordered to the West by Marketview Heights, to the South by Neighborhood of the Arts, to the East by Culver- Winton, and to the North by Homestead Heights.
